Been there done that as well. Ruts show up for at least two years, don't get chance to work them down after harvest, bigger mess in the spring trying to cover them up and level the fields out. Best option is to let the ground freeze, take what you can get when you can get them. MPCI covers snow as a peril, they will extend coverage period until you harvest or the crop has rotted in the field, which is what will happen to soybeans if they get covered by snow and we cant get them off until spring melt.

I may be a pestimist when it comes to harvesting in mud but I can honestly say I have never, as yet, had a combine stuck in the mud and have always been able to get the soys off at some point. Yes I do have RWA on my combine and am not afraid to use it, however I will not push it to the point of doing more damage to the machine and the soil that I am going to get in return for the soys I am trying to harvest.
