That was interesting. And I discovered my Open Office Calc will sort columns! By sorting column C I got all the same varieties together.  Seems 04684340is rather popular.  So is 0491712.  Also noticed that none of the varieties from my seed supplier were listed with anyone else.

However, something I noticed earlier this year when we were discussing corn varieties was any little change became a different variety. For instance variety A was a different variety number than variety A RR and variety A (any other traits you want to list).  So variety lists may not be a helpful as one would wish.
