Subject: Just be propared for changing weather.

Little River, TX
That time of year the temperatures can be up in the 80, and swimming is comfortable. Conversely temperatures can be down in the teens, and cold enough to freeze the appendages off a brass monkey.
Odds are the temperatures will feel reasonably mild to you and in the 50's or 60's during the day and down into the 30's at night. Still there may be a day or two of light snow and a day or two of balmy weather.
To me the coldest is when there is a wind off the Gulf that is cold and damp. Bites right through me anyway.

As for Austin, traffic can be difficult. Best to fly in and use complementary transportation. I avoid Austin when ever possible.
