Wow, those are some impressive picks you have there Boomer. For us, running the well at 1500 gpm which comes out to 3.34 cfs, our lands were 54' wide. They were kind of an odd ball size, and i'm not sure why dad did that. but we would run all the water on 1 land to push it down somewhat evenly when on new seeding. Once the hay got established we could run on 2 or 3 lands at a time. for your friends situation I would go with 52 or if it is flat maybe 78 if it is really flat. To made the ridges I always throw up a ridge than run over it with the tractor to pack it down then make another pass with the ridger and run over it agian.
