<p>Kinda depends on how much water he can get in his ditch. Around here we get between 25 and 30 cfs and my half mile runs checks are from 300 to 400 feet wide.......</p><p>Defently put the checks in before you plant. if you build them after you plant not much of the seed will make it on the borders..</p>
