It is a good rotational crop and a decent cover crop. Wheat and double crop beans was as about as much profit as anything else this year. Next year may be different but I doubt it. I like the winter cover. If you go to a cover crop in August Sept you can really improve the profit line in 2010. When it is dry, dust in wheat, when it is muddy, stay out they say.
