Doing about 20 acres a day. Good news is corn yeilds have been exceptional and the old dryer although being slow is only costing us about 20 cents to dry 8 points. Got started on beans 4 days ago and have already doubled our acres. I think most of our drying days in the feild are about to come to an end. Early planted corn is now 18% while the june planted corn is anywhere from around 23-30%. Still have 150 acres that got flattened by ike and would like to get it out but it is still 30% with green stalks. | |
