Alsace 47°52'46"N 7°24'30"E | I just harvested my corn at +/- 30% ... Could have waited a couple of weeks for a dryer harvest, but then .... see pictures attached. In my opinion, a risk analysis has to be made, taking into account the health of the crop, the exposure to winds, the exposure to animals, the risk of soil-compaction and the cost of drying. Waiting some time on the moister corn can be beneficial but everybody has to see where his own benefits are.
