Little River, TX | The Eastern Gamagrass is on hold right now. There is a cash flow consideration that must be addressed. I need to recover from all the flood killed alfalfa in 2007. Wouldn't you know it the fall 2006 planting died from lack of rain, and then we had 18 flood events in 2007. Also that ground ended up with a ton of weeds this last season, so it will be fallowed for another year.
Usually planting alfalfa, here, relies on stubborn blind faith. Most years the Good Lord is looking after his Foolish & Ignorant and things works out.
