| Good luck finding someone who stores it any other way. It is stored in this way from the time it manufactured until it is sold, and then its spread on the open ground. Ammonium nitrate is one of the most stable forms of nitrogen availble. Unless it is exposed to water I can't imagine any significant loss from storage ( significant meaning 1% or more). Even then these blends are done on per weight basis so you get what nutrients you pay for. You might have something else going on but its not the dealers fault in the storage methods. | |
