nw iowa | We registered shortly after it came out.Several things we did not like,1- USDA pushed for this big time but would not push for COOL,we kind of thought they should go together,2-the way they represented it as being voluntary until after very few growers signed on,then it became mandatory,3- a failure of govt to simplify tag reader guidelines,for example you may have a dozen different makes/types of readers,why not make one standard so they're all the same.I don't like govt messing in it but I also don't want untracable diseased animals all over either.Also should require premise ID from other countries as well,probably as many problems being brought in from them too. | |
