Here, 30 miles southwest of Des Moines, I would guess 65% of beans still in the field and 99.5% of corn still in the field. We need low humidity, nice breeze and sunshine but we're getting fog, calm winds and cool temps. Ground conditions are borderline, another inch of rain in the near term and we'll be ruttin' and muddin'. We need two good drying days just to get the beans back down to 13 or 14% but then we have more rain in the forcast. Oh well, I've been doing this for 36 years so I've been through it before...LOL
