Yeah Deere, it was new this last planting season. Its a pretty well built machine and yes like I noted before you can set every row to stagger plant perfectly with the precision planting built corn meters. As far as populations go, this year we had great moisture for the corn and I set the population for our normal rainfall. I might try some higher pops, but I am not going to rush every acre into it. I tried some high populations a couple years ago and got some hot temps and it just baked the corn. I do think that moving from 23 to 25 will be easy to achieve but I will save the 28-30's for bottom ground soils. How is your harvest coming along, please with yields?
