Subject: RE: hoop building question

Eastern Ontario
We have had a 50x108 tarp building for 6 years now. It is used mostly for hay storage, some equipment storage and my wife convinced me to put four stall in for horses. One end is closed with a 16x16 tarp door and a man door. The other end, which faces south, is open. We have three roof vents. Given our use, there shouldn't be any humidity build up but when the weather changes from cold to warm we get condensation and dripping from the steel trusses. I have also heard people with riding arenas comment regularly that it drips quit a bit. If you confine a bunch of livestock in there, even with side curtains or open ends, I would expect to see condensation. I wouldn't want anything other that galvinized myself for our region..
