Northeast Louisiana | I'm a definite believer in soil tests. We are testing all of our ground as we speak and then are going to make decisions as to how much and where. We've built up our fertility levels over the years, so we could probably put out no P&K this fall year and be just fine. That will probably be exactly what happens on our ground that tests very high in P&K.
On poorer soils that test lower, we'll probably put out enough for next year's crop, but not much more.
