Scotland
E-student. Normal harvest time for my area (which is actually 100 miles north of where my map shows it as I haven't changed it since moving) is W. Barley - late July/Early August, Canola - Early to mid August, S. Barley/W.Oats - Mid to late August, W. Wheat - Mid August to Mid september. This year we started the Canola on 15th August and finished the wheat about the 20th of September but would have been finished 2 weeks earlier if it hadn't rained. Average yields this year were, Canola 3t/ha, S. Barley 5.5t/ha and wheat 8t/ha.
Matts, the OSR was sown about the 20th of August and had pre emergence weed control with Butisan and Centium and 30kgN/Ha.
The 9070 has had a few teething problems but they are going to sort them out over winter, good output and low losses, except when the straw is wet and the grain is 40%, I didn't stay out long that day!
At the moment we have 2 Claas tractors an Axion 830 which is about 195hp and a Celtis 456 which is 100hp.
