About as different as possible to our CenTex conditions.

But both locations find No Till difficult to impossible to make work successfully.
Here Strip Till only works where the grower really wants it to work.
Here it was 1983 the last time we had more than a quarter inch of frost in the ground.
Personally I believe the corn growers here have an added challenge, in that none of the corn planted here is bred for optimal productivity in our climate and soils.

Big difference though is I put on a jacket when the temperature goes below 80º while you are sweating to death at 80º! ( A little poetic license there. )
