You're still doing beans up there too? Sure is going to be a late fall here in MN, the corn is still green, almost no corn taken out around me. Even the high-moisture silage folks aren't moving in the corn fields yet. Beans are about 1/2 done. I know we have been spoiled with the last few falls - last year the 5 inch rain slowed us down but we still had an early start before that came.

Kinda nervious watching those snows to the west, we don't need an early winter! Not sure some of that corn will dry down.

Was _not_ the year to put beans on the low alki peat ground either. Oh well. Always next year....

Back to tillage, see a fella plowed his bean stuble after the combine. Don't see that too often any more. (Most folks till in this county, too cold & wet.)
