We've done it, like the others are telling you get the biggest seeds you can find. I had one set of finger pick-ups changed over to the small fingers and I didn't get along good at all with smaller seed. It would start out planting OK but then broken shells and pieces would add up quickly and start uneven planting to happen. Now we buy big seed (More expensive) and use the corn fingers. I've also hired some planted with a vacuum planter and sure liked how that worked better.
