The big advantage to shelling the high moisture corn is,,,,,,,,you will not loose near as much in the field. You can put more in the bin,,,,,,, that will help out with the drying cost..

After saying all of that, ,,,I try not to shell over 19.5,,,,,,,, This year I have been doing well and the wettest has been 19.1. Have a load on the truck now at 16,,,,,,combine is doing well but still losing some on the head,, have a week of good dry weather ahead of us, I am hitting it hard now, going to finish it hopefully Tuesday before it dries out anymore...

Also have a 3300, but have a 343 head which can be a load in good corn,,,,wouldn't have it any other way...
