nw pa | you have no choice. get started. Enough things will go wrong while your doing it. Wet ground will cost you more than the drying bill. Might be different if you were at 18 percent and didn't have to dry it,but since it will be run through the dryer I would go and not look back. We have harvested corn above 30 many times to get off wet ground and looking back we never regretted it. once it's dry in the bin farming will get easier. Start where the corn is the driest in the middle and work your way out. Or do the wettest ground first. Once the snowballs start hitting you in the butt the first time you get a new perspective on early harvest. Good luck Go man Go |
