Newfane NY | Please stop with this "super tight credit". Farm Credit just renewed my personal line of credit I have not used in 4 years. Unsecured for $50,000 at 4.5%.
We are looking at a farm that we need to borrow $500,000 and they will do it with a 10 year note at 4.5% variable. This is unsecured.
Man said...."farmers who have a history of good credit will get money" I got the feeling that honesty in a farmers word will be a good thing.....again. ie...do not drive a new pickup and then tell the banker you can not repay your loan on time.
