There are many forms of carbon, each with different properties. Carbon dioxide is an inert gas formed by either combustion or metabolism, which is also s9oluble in water. Acetylene is an explosive gas. The earth as we know it exists because of the carbon matrix. We pay small fortunes for big chunks of diamond and a pittance for diamond powder. Our vehicles ride on carbon black – which exists in over 400 distinct forms. We frequently filter our water and our air with activated carbon which also has 100’s of distinct forms.  Some farmers use it to absorb herbicides  in the row to allow crop seeds to grow while killing weeds outside of the row.  Then that are carbon balls and carbon tubes being used for everything from fabric to the controlled release of drugs. Organic matter on the surface of the soil is different than organic matter within the soil is different than humus. So what is "liquid carbon"?
