East Central Arkansas | Boll opening seems awfully slow here. Cotton that had the 2nd shot put out 9-24 still has some bolls that are not opened. This was cotton that had Dropp at 2.8 oz and 1 gal 24 ac 1 st shot and second shot was .75 oz aim and 26 os prep. Today will be 16 days. Will probably start picking on this today if it's not to muddy. We had 1.6 in rain Mon. night. On our 2nd shot that we started 9-27 we upped our Prep rate to 32 oz. The rain really caught this bad so I can't tell yet if that helped a lot yet.
