Aphids were a ten bushel hit this year around southern Iowa. I don't have side by side data to absolutely prove this, but I have a few customers who didn't spray, and their average yields are generally ten bushels off (40-50, instead of 50-60)of my customers who did spray insecticide. Last year I had a side by side, and got a nine bushel response.
