Kindersley Sk. | If these guys ever get their ducks in a row, they will easily flood the world market with grains. My impression is that that the area in south east Europe that was the former Soviet Union (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine) could be highly productive but poor credit, poor infrastructure, and poor management has held this area a bay. And the ones that have big money are still thinking giant corporate style farms (50 000+acres) are the way to go. But as far as I see it, a motivated owner/operator will out compete a managed employee company any day. If they ever get their system figured out we will all be screwed. | |
