Subject: Fugicide/insecicde use in soybeans

North West IA/western AZ
I tried a foliar fungiced on the beans this summer. I was concerned about killing the "good" fungi that may control insect pests, so I threw in an insecticide. I left a 60' x 2500' test area untreated. Did a wieghwagon test yesterday. The untreated area was 16 bu/A less than the treated.
Next time I will also have an insecticide only test.
