Subject: I think I will go fishing here

Callao Missouri
My thought are that the tin work cannot be thinner because machines today push ten times the bushels in a day threw them as their older bothers and cousins. With that being said if the combine was made the same as it use to be it would be wore out in half the time. I also believe that the steel used to construct combines now days is better than it used to be. Also take a look at augers, a vertical unloading auger for a 7720 is between an 1/8 - 3/16" thick flighting when new. The last vertical auger I put in a 9650 sts had at least 1/4" flighting and it had a ring around the edge. Deere's extended life auger they call it I think. Jon
