I think you're getting it.

65% moisture would be 35% dry matter. As is weight x DM% = weight of DM.

If there really is 7 bu corn/Ton of silage, 175 bu corn would be 25 T of silage, or 8.75 T(17,500 lbs) of DM. There is a LOT of feed per acre!

 Your challenge is to efficiently turn that into beef. I have never attempted beef on anything close to a commercial scale, so my "advice" is really mostly conjecture, subject to reality adjustments.
