Around here you could have clay, muck and sand in the same field, so you have to have a feel for what is there. I seldom rent a farm with out first going over it. ( mapping etc) to get a feel for what is out there.
I tend to use low for small patches and have 225 acres in one feld, that ts almost unheard of around here, that is muck. Pay a little more for that one. | |
