Subject: New Cattle Trailer

I broke down and bought a new trailer. No its not aluminum please dont tell me all the reasons why I should of spent more than double the money to get one. Its a 16 by 7 Moritz, Most of my hauls are just a couple miles to the local butcher shop with freezer beef. My question is what does everyone do to minimize rust. I was under the trailer looking and thought they could have done a better job painting the underside, I am thinking about lifting it up and repainting the underside. Is their any special paints out their to do a good job of rust prevention? How about inside the trailer I have heard of people putting that roll on bedliner along the bottom, Does it work or does dtuff get behind it and rust more. How about those rubber mats on the floor, Do they extend the life of the floor? Just looking for helpfull suggestions to make it last. I do plan on storing it inside, I am fortunate enough to have the room under a roof to keep it.
Thanks
