NW Washington | The one with duals just levels the combine over a pivot point on the center of the regular combine axle and it is usually limited to about 26 or 28% of leveling. The one with single tires moves each drive wheel assembly straight up and down and is capable of leveling over up to about 40 or 44% slope. This type of leveler is better for really steep hills, but it cost at least twice as much to buy and install. The simpler one with dual wheels can be installed by a dealer and cost much less. Hillco only makes this type. A company in Spokane Wa makes both type levelers, but only for John Deere combines. | |
