It really varies, this country. Some of the winter country takes up to 50+ acres a month to run a cow. down to 5 or less in some summer country. We run in bunches of 800 head or more on BLM. And around 450 head groups on Forest Service. Cows have to travel several miles for water sometimes. Cows are trailed a lot, not a lot of trucking of them. We run out year round, unless we get snowed, drought, burned out.
