Subject: Corn Harvest with JD's new corn head

Slicker than a Yes album.
Finally have a chance to put these up. If you're curious about how these heads are working, here's a few photos. First impressions, it cuts nice, RowSense is great to run, (I guess, I have only 1 whole round running it.) We'll see how the knives look after a few thousand acres. Same goes for the rest of the new components. Enjoy.

Oh yes, Dekalb corn (don't know the exact number, 102 and 99 day) A little wet at 24%, but running well at 190-200 bu/ac. I had a chance to haul some dried corn to the ethanol plant to check with their testing machine. It's been 54-55lbs, so I hope the corn gets a bit heavier later in the season. We have no beans, so that's why we're out in SCMN. There have been a lot of beans knocked out around here, though.
