| Always have had the problem. Used tile at one time, trouble is it pushes the beans down some as it is too big around. Dry stems helps greatly as mentioned. What i try to do is set the reel close enough and fast enough to get it pulling out of the bean just before the stem is cut off, therefore pulling loose while the bean is fastened to the ground yet. Height adjustment lever played with all the time as hight of beans change. Had a lot of trouble two days ago, yesterday never cleaned the reel once.
