Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | Calves are born with a twisted spine, and other deformities like deformed knees and hooves.
We had one calf born out of our registered cows last winter with said problems. Was alive when born, but I had to put it down. Supposed to be a problem related to one Angus sire. Sure enough, ours traced back through the Beartooth herd to that Gardiner bull.
I've got to hand it to the AAA, for all of their faults they seem to be right on top of this. | |
