USA | Last year we averaged 214 bpa. This year, the corn is all down, and yet we are seeing anywhere from 100-200 bpa. But, our dryer is down and are waiting on parts, so we haven't shelled in three days. Everyone around us is shelling, my husband took a nap yesterday afternoon. Last year was picture perfect, didn't dry any corn. This year, quite different. It is difficult to dry 19% corn. Much easier to dry 25% corn. We are located in western KY, our county runs along the Ohio River. Wish us luck that we get the right parts tomorrown morning, otherwise, it could be a VERY bad day tomorrow around here. | |
