I don't advocate any tillage over non-tillage for anyone else, but I will say that marestail was getting to be a problem in this area a few yrs back in n-t situations. Rates of 2,4-d had to be adequate to control the size of the weeds in burndown. Glyphosate by itself was not good on mt, especially @ the lower labelled rates for burndown (12 oz).

However, we have seen NO resistance problems (by weeds) to field cultivator sweeps. I won't say it can't happen someday, but I fail to understand how. I don't see that slope predicates HEL ground in the photos EdW supplied.
