I planted some about 3 weeks ago, got rained out so I just finished them yesterday. I think it is probably too late for them to do too much now. The first seed I ordered was $25/50# bag. I thought that was really high. The last seed that came in for me was $45/bag. I almost turned that away, but I wanted to finish the field.

I'll try to attach a pic of mine. I used innoculant. Drilled on 7.5" after working ruts in wheat stubble. I plan to go to corn next year. Was hoping that the peas would make up their cost in fixing N, but I'm not so sure now. I'll probaby put NH3 on the ground as soon as conditions are fit anyway.

They were supposed to be 15#/acre, but since it was the first time I've messed with them, I'm pretty sure that the first batch got more along the lines of 30#, and the second planting about 6#, since they didn't recieve as much seed as I ordered.
