| How many farmers do this? With high prices and better than normal yields, We can afford to put back the removed nutrients this year. 400 lbs+ of K2O removed plus the others. I have good access to one of the authors of the recent UC Davis publication on alfalfa and he says that very few farmers put back more than half of the K alfalfa takes out. Our ground has adequate K, but not an excess. Am I being ridiculous thinking this is a real problem? | |
