put it all on and be done with it.Especially if the ground is right to spread it.. the idea of spreading a ton or so every year is ok if you have the ground to do it... usually you end up with the crop planted late,while waiting for lime. Ruts from being to wet . A poor spread job cause you aren't able to kep an eye on them.  get  the most of it spread right and most of the other problems go away
