Subject: Chopping real green corn for silage question,

just a tish NE of central ND
What are the negatives of chopping corn when it is real wet yet? We would like to get going chopping and making silage on a pile, but the kernels are pretty milky, but they probably wont get any riper before frezzing anyway. We have too many acres to wait till frost to get it done in a timely fashion. Can corn silage be too wet?
