I use the Quiet Weans. You just put them in the nose. No need to peirce the nose. Here is a link to their site. http://www.quietwean.com/howitworks.htm If you go to the tab that says how to order click on Donley Enterprises. They are a stocking dealer. They buy them by the pallet so they usually have them on hand. I have used them for about 4 years now. I usually put them in when I give the first round of shots and then dump them out with the cows and pull them a week later and give the second shots and remove the quiet weans and the hardly ball at all. I usually keep my cows and calves in the lot together after I work them the first time.
