I agree with Ham: the 'green bridge' is irrelevant for take-all. Crop rotation is the #1 factor, although some weedy species can be hosts, as noted. Spring wheat is a host for take-all.

Burning and tillage will only be mildly effective. Much better approaches would be to use high rates of seed-applied fungicide and to supply some chloride to the plants during seedling stage. Applying chloride to suppress take-all is a time-honored technique in the Pacific Northwest.
