Well since it's a heifer I assume you're raising her to be a milk cow, so the majority of her diet should be some type of forage, either corn silage, haylage, dry hay, or some mixture of these types of forages and perhaps some corn and supplement. You don't want to push her with grain like you would an animal being fed out for beef, because if you do she'll put fat cells into her udder as she grows and will be a poor milker when she freshens. Animals usually consume 2-3% of their body weight per day, so you can use this rule to figure out the amounts based on the ration you will provide her with.
