I would like to disagree. I feel N Serve is not needed with spring applied N. It takes a while for for the conversion of the N to take place. With fall applied N there is a long time for conversion. N Serve slows this conversion down. In the spring the crop is planted shortly after applying N normally. This year if the N were put on in April and planting was delayed until June, maybe there would be a problem. I applied mine the last week of April and planted the first week of May and did not see any noticeable deficiencies.
