Subject: RE: N-serve in pig manure?

East Central Ia
Not sure I can tell you a whole lot as I am not the person in our operation that runs the manure tank. Last fall was the first year we tried it and I can tell that where we used it looks a lot better then some of our neighbors. We have several side by sides so we will know more in a month or so. I don't think that it is the same formulation as what they put in NH3 though... something is changed to make it work in manure. We also had a little bit of some other N stabilizer to try but I don't remember what it was. It was a powder and my brother wasn't real happy about dumping it into the top of the tank while it was filling... tends to splatter a lot up there. :)

Our chemical dealer is supposed to be getting us some prices and information on it again here soon... I think he said they have a new formulation or something?

Probably not much of an answer to your question... sorry.
