"Here" drying charges for corn are calculated strictly on moisture content, there is no relation to contract prices or dockage. The wetter the corn, you more you pay, irregardless of price or quality. I believe soybean drying charges are handled much the same as in the US, as Ontario ( at least) adopted the same system that Michigan uses a few years back. If you are interested you can go here http://www.agris.coop/index.cfm?show=10&mid=631&pid=2 to view drying rates "here". 2008 rates havent been posted yet but I dont expect any large increases over 07
