Subject: Re: Podworms in Late DC Beans

Ashburn, GA, (very close to Heaven!)
We had ours in July in peanuts and cotton. Podfeeder numbers have been low in our beans, uh, at least so far. However, foliage feeders are picking up. I started seeing more soybean loopers in the mix yesterday, had been mainly cabbage loopers. Soybean loopers are just about impossible to kill with a Karate or Mustang, but if you are at R6, you can stand more foliage loss.

We have about three more weeks in most fields to keep them protected, more in some others. I have one field of doublecrop GrpV that will finish out a little sooner, and they look really strong, too.
