Stratford WI | The problem is they don't think. Their actions are based on emotions. No logic.
Of course their answer is that the owner should know that horses live long lives and should be prepared to handle the costs of providing for senior animals until they die a natural death. And then foot the bill to have the animal disposed of properly.
This was a hotly debated subject a while back and I'm sure many horse related boards still have aftershock discussions. I'm pretty sure animal rights groups such as the humane society of the United States had their hand in it from the beginning. | |
